Great selection of the outdoor brands. Some good sales on the previous version of the Yeti hopper. Prob sold out by now. Love to stop in and see what they have on sale. Lots of shoes. My wife got the UGG rain boots for 40% off.
Rented paddle boards. OMG. It was so much fun. Had no idea if we could do it without going into the drink but we did, and stood and enjoyed nature for the afternoon. Considering buying one for myself. Thanks for the rental experience to introduce me to a new sport and some self confidence hidden down deep. Safe and fun.
Herring's is a terrific store with a great selection and staff members who go over and above to satisfy customers. Also, the owner has tons of Topsail area knowledge and is happy to share it. Ask a local the best places to buy a bike, rent a kayak, get some water shoes or pick up a nice beach bag and you're likely going be directed straight to Herring's!
