My boyfriend and I were blown away by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff at 50 South Surf Shop! My boyfriend rented a surfboard for the day, and even purchased some new fins for his board back home. We really enjoyed talking to the staff about Surf City and surfing! Thanks again for being so welcoming and helpful! We'll definitely be coming back to Surf City and 50 South Surf Shop.
Rocky and his staff are super friendly and helpful. They rent bikes, kayaks and surf boards. Reasonable rates and quality equipment.
Best place on the Island. Local owner who goes above and beyond with serve and knowledge of the products he sells and rents is amazing! Great selection of clothing/accessories too!
First of all, 50 South is a real surf shop. This is hands down the best surf shop on the east or west coast. The customer service is knowledgeable and super friendly. If you are just starting out or need expert advice this is the place for you. Specifically for people starting out, this is the least pretentious experience and most fun you can have at a surf shop.
Had a lot of fun bike riding with my 10yro. They have youth and kids bikes..reserve online day beforehand.
