We checked in on Saturday. The living area floors were covered in dog hair. The kitchen had tons of little sugar ants. We just swept up the dog hair (as gross as it was...) and set out a little bowl of sugar water to attract the ants. A day later the washing machine never filled with water. So I called to let #abeachplacerealty know. While I was on the phone, I told them about the dog hair and the ants. They sent someone out with ant traps. The owner met me to look at the washing machine. She acknowledged that it filled slowly when she washed her own clothes there the Friday before. The machine did start working when we tried a load, so she told me to call back if I had problems. When we were cleaning up to leave, my sons found a large lunch tote/cooler and a large dog bone underneath covers on the side of a bed they hadn't slept in. When I called to complain about those issues and how nasty the house was from the beginning of our week there, I was told that unless we had pictures, they could do nothing as they are a property management company. We have rented from this company for a long time. When I asked for a credit of $75 (which is what they charge if the house is left UNCLEAN), I was told this was an administrative fee, not a cleaning fee. I guess a beach place realty doesn't care that they are losing a good customer.
Can you give them less than one star? Neighbor had RATS! When the rental office was called about a refund because they had babies crawling around with rat droppings they said, "the owner would not allow that." When they said they won't leave a good review they said, "that's ok we don't have a website that you can leave reviews on anyway." Nice business model....(sarcasm)...
The rest of our group in the triplex house had the same experience and once we all called like we were supposed to they told us that if we weren't happy to just leave because we didn't have pictures to prove anything. But apparently they entered the home without giving us a notice and emptied the dishwasher because no one in our group did it the whole trip. We were very upset that they came while we were gone without notifying us first.
Booked a house with this realty and paid the deposit (50% of a weeks rent) in March 2017. The house was undergoing some construction that was to be completed in May. A Beach Place Realty guaranteed the house would be ready for our mid August reservation. In May I expressed further concerns and asked to get out of the reservation and was not allowed to without risking our deposit. Now a week into July we were notified the house would not be ready and the alternatives offered were not acceptable for our needs. More than frustrating...

This is a very professional, friendly and responsive company. They respond to emails quickly, are knowledgeable about the property, and respond to your concerns during your stay promptly. Location of their office is very convenient and check in is very fast and easy! I will use them again!
But when we arrived at the house it was FILTHY. We had to go and personally buy cleaning products to disinfect and clean the house. The dishes still had food on them, the dishwasher was still packed full. The bathrooms had hair and dirt everywhere , used paper plates from the previous tenants under the furniture and when we pulled out the sleeper sofa to use there were still used dirty sheets on the sofa and something that looked a lot like poop under the couch. Needless to say we just folded it back up and didn't use it.
We were very disappointed in the cleanliness and upkeep of the house but we still managed to have a good time after a little hard work and disenfecting. We will not be booking through A Beach Place Realty again.
